Artist-in-Residence commission by Stanford Medicine X 2014.  Based on the “Spoon Theory” for chronic illness written by Christine Miserandino.

  • Measures approx. 3 inches by 1.5 inches. 
  • Hand sawn, etched, riveted and soldered

Description

The base of the bottle was constructed from copper piping.  The lid was fabricated from flat sheet copper and soldered together with the Medicine X logo etched on the top. The label is etched nickel and held in place with copper rivets.  The tiny nickel spoons inside represent pills.
